Next Step.

The first step will be to make an appointment for an initial session in which we will discuss your needs and what you are hoping to gain from psychotherapy or counselling. This first session gives you an opportunity to meet me and to decide how we feel about working together. In the case of short-term work I would recommend a minimum of 6 sessions initially, to be reviewed as the work progresses. In the case of longer term work it is useful to keep this open-ended although we can contract for a fixed number of sessions if you prefer. In either case clients typically attend one 50 minute session per week, usually at a regular time. If I think I am unable to help you I will try to refer you to another professional.


Confidentiality

The content of our sessions is confidential between you and me. We will discuss the details of our confidentiality agreement when we meet.


Fees

The initial assessment session is £25 for a full 50 minute session. The fee for subsequent sessions is £45 per 50 min.


A limited number of Concessionary places may be available for those on low income or unemployed.
